We have years of experience planning, managing, and executing construction projects of all kinds. Our team is professional and reliable, and we will work within your constraints. We always stay on the job until it's done to your satisfaction.
Incorporated in 1983, Border Insulators was established by Robert Saxon as a family based insulating business, but with the booming oilfield in Estevan, the company has evolved and expanded its range of services. Our success is illustrated by our sustained and profitable growth over the last thirty years. Now with thirty plus employees, Border Insulators intends to strengthen its leadership role and continue our commitment to the oilfield in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and beyond.
Mechanical insulation contracting has been the core service provided by Border Insulators since 1983. The installation of mechanical insulation can involve a variety of piping systems and sizes, all operating under differing conditions and in differing environments within the same facility. Here we utilize an extensive selection of insulation products and cladding types designed to service thermal, cryogenic, acoustical and production purposes. Our qualified tradesmen install these materials to withstand the service demands of vibration, extreme temperatures and mechanical damage. Canadian weather and process design considerations are significant factors in the installation specifications for many projects. Our qualified crews ensure that the finished product will endure fluctuating temperatures and variable seasonal conditions.
We also specialize in the fabrication of metal buildings in the oilfield industry. Our premium designs house such equipment as headers, test separators, wellheads and other industry facilities. These buildings offer quick and easy access, and are so versatile that potential to use is unlimited. Our thermal panel buildings are made of sturdy, lightweight polyurethane panels which provide warmth, are rodent and moisture resistant, and virtually maintenance free. Our buildings are ideal for temporary or permanent applications with easy relocation capabilities from site to site.
